Lake Bled

Upper Carniola, Slovenia

Located 55km north-east of the capital Lubjana, lake Bled is one of the main tourisitc attraction of the country. A medieval castle dating of the 11th century overlooks from 130 meters above perched atop a cliff. It is not very wide (2120 x 1380 meters) for an area of 360 acres. It is perfectly bathable with a temperature of 25°C (77°F) during summer months.
