Lake Le Sautet

Lake Sautet is an artificial lake located on the border of the departments of Isère and Hautes-Alpes. It was created by the establishment of a dam on the Drac, downstream of its confluence with the Souloise.

Artificial lake with pebble beach, games for children, nautical base (rental, initiation), picnic tables, catering. Free parking. Supervised swimming from July 10 to August 20. Non-motorized navigation allowed. Regulated fishing. This lake and its 350 ha of turquoise water, located at an altitude of 765 m, extended in its southern part by the gorges of the Souloise, constitutes an ideal base for the practice of free water activities such as sailing, motorboating, surfing, canoeing and fishing.

Lake Sautet is a privileged place for holidaymakers in search of authentic nature. Many activities around this body of water attract a diverse and growing public, including a large number of foreigners. This lake and its 350 ha of turquoise water, located at an altitude of 765 m, extended in its southern part by the gorges of the Souloise (canyon listed in the Natura 2000 inventory) constitutes an ideal base for the practice of free water activities such as: sailing, motor boat, surfing, canoeing, fishing.

Nestled in a mountain setting, at an altitude of 765 metres, Lake du Sautet, with a surface area of 350 hectares, can boast of benefiting from a magnificent natural setting! This superb water reservoir, located below the friendly village of Corps, also encourages the practice of water sports such as canoeing, sailing, pedal boat, electric boat and swimming. Hiking and via ferrata are also possible near the lake.
